VOLUNTEERS CAN HAVE CFSA CHECKS COMPLETED IN MANNING NEXT WEEK!
We love volunteers, however student safety and student privacy is of utmost importance. Therefore, some volunteers will be required to complete a Criminal Records check and Child and Family Services (CFSA) Intervention check.
Volunteers who will not be supervised by a staff member while interacting with students must complete both screening checks. Volunteers who are supervised by staff at all times do not require formal screening.
Normallly, volunteers would have to travel to Peace River to have their Child & Family Services Authority (CFSA) Intervention check completed. Next week, however, they can have them done in Manning on the following days:
· Monday, September 12 from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Manning Hospital.
· Tuesday, September 13 from 3:30 to 6:30 PM at the Legion Hall (Parade of Programs)
Criminal record checks can be requested at any time by visiting the RCMP detachment.
For either, photo ID will be required.
Anyone who has questions can contact the school office at (780) 836-3397.
