FORESTRY STUDENTS EXPERIENCE "HANDS ON" LEARNING WITH EQUIPMENT SIMULATORS

This week nineteen students who are registered in the Forestry Program through the Alberta Distance Learning Centre (ADLC) we lucky enough to take part in the Woodlands Operating Learning Foundations (WOLF) program! With the use of state of the art technology, students experience operating various harvest process equipment and feller bunchers.  Over the course of the week, each student received a minimum of 6 hours of training time and had the opportunity to try out each of the 6 different machines.  Students who took part had a great experience!
